Peer-Review Manipulation
Peer-review manipulations are dealt with as per the guidelines given by COPE.

- Peer-review manipulation suspected after publication (https://publicationethics.org/search?query=files+peer+review+manipulation+after+publication+cope+flowchart.pdf&urlfield=).
Peer Review Statement:
All research articles submitted for publication in the publisher have undergone rigorous peer-reviewby potential reviewers, where both reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process. Every proposal submitted for publication was initially screened by the editor-in-chief. If the paper agrees with editorial policies and with a minimum quality level, then the article was anonymized refereeing by at least three independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The reviewers won't know the author's identity, as any identifying information will be stripped from the document before review.
Reviewers' comments to the editors are confidential, and before passing on to the author, they will be made anonymous. Based on the reviewers' comments, the Editor-in-Chief makes a final decision on the acceptability of the manuscript and communicates to the authors the decision, along with the referees' reports. Whether significant revisions are proposed, acceptance is dependent on whether the author can deal with that satisfactorily. The final manuscript was published with concurrence with the referee's opinion by the editor-in-chief. The Editor's decision is final.
PEER-REVIEW WORKFLOW

PEER-REVIEW INVITATION
Manuscripts are forwarded to editors for evaluation initially and subsequently to independent external reviewers to check if the research work presented in the manuscript:
- Falls within the scope of the journal and
- Meets the editorial criteria of the International Journal of Nutrology in terms of originality and quality.
Regarding the first point, editors may recommend the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript by conducting the scope review themselves, based on their knowledge and experience, or they may seek assistance and advice from other experts in the field.
Regarding the second point, the International Journal of Nutrology conducts an independent peer review on all papers submitted for publication. Before sending any manuscript to reviewers, the International Journal of Nutrology seeks consent from potential reviewers and editorial board members about their availability and willingness to review the article. Correspondence between the members of the journal’s editorial office and the reviewers is kept confidential. The reviewers are asked to:
- Accept or decline review invitation based on the title and abstract.
- Suggest alternative reviewers (optional) if the reviewers decline the review invitation based on their field of expertise not being directly relevant to the article scope, their busy schedule, or any potential conflict of interest with the authors.
After receiving the review of the manuscript by at least three independent experts, in addition to the views of the editor, the decision is relayed to the authors via our Manuscript Processing System, which may be categorized as:
- Requires no changes
- Requires minor changes
- Requires major changes
- Rejected, but may be resubmitted
- Rejected with no resubmission
Online proof correction:
Corresponding authors will receive an email allowing annotation and correction of proofs in the manuscript. The environment of proof correction is similar in MS Word: in addition to editing text, you can also comment on figures/tables and answer questions for reviewers. If preferred, you can still choose to annotate and upload your edits on the MS Word version. All instructions for proofing will be given in the email we send to authors.
We will do everything possible to get your article published quickly and accurately. Please use this proof only for checking the typesetting, editing, completeness, and correctness of the text, tables, and figures. Significant changes to the article as accepted for publication will only be considered at this stage with permission from the Editor. It is important to ensure that all corrections are sent back to us in one communication. Please check carefully before replying, as inclusion of any subsequent corrections cannot be guaranteed. Proofreading is solely your responsibility.

Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN)
International Journal of Nutrology is in the PKP Preservation Network (PN). PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of the Global LOCKSS Network, which primarily preserves content from larger publishers and vendors, or an existing PLN, which preserves small numbers of OJS journals hosted by member libraries, can be preserved using the LOCKSS program. For additional details about the PKP PN, see the high-level overview (an early discussion document).
